    yea, its a 300.... the plan is a clown and probably a goby (something that sand sifts) and a pretty hefty cleanup crew... then ill move on to a couple corals...

    any sand thats dry and lives on a shelf will contain no live bacteria... if it did, all those bacteria cycle products would work as they claim...when in reality, the only one that works (bio spyra) is refridgerated in solution and if warms, it dies.... Its just reef sand, no mention of Live

    gotcha.. i have a 300 as well... it came with foam, carbon and some Biomax stuff for the filter... should i use all 3 or just the carbon/foam?

    Running an AC HOB with the foam/carbon inserts or removing the media and just tossing some LR in the filter basket (without its own light and not fuge modded)...?

    cleaning shouldnt be too bad, the light comes off fairly easily and i can get to all sides but the back with no hassle... i am contemplating maybe putting it on something that slides a little easier... and it gets no direct light

    using an AC HOB with skimmer attachment, do you take the filter media out or run the filter as u would in a FW tank?

    i will most likely add the cleaning crew first, give some further contemplation to the fish and add both fish at once... after the cleaning crew have established..

    After a cycle is complete, does it matter in which order you put fish/coral into the tank? As seen in my other posts, i will most likely do a clown fish and a wrasse/goby (havent decided on the later). I am curious if i add the fish first and intro the corals later will the fish bother them...
