    Some type of worm

I just found this guy sneaking a peek out of one of the crevices in my rock today when i came home from school. I think it's some type of worm... it reminds me of those old radio antennas that you can extend, because as I was watching it, the bands in its body did not move, meaning the worm was...

    Snail Poop... what eats it?

Hey everyone. My snails have been doing a great job cleaning my liverock of algae... too good in fact that my sand bed is now littered with little snail poop pellets... lol. I know it's natural... but it's a bit unsightly. Know of any good detritus feeders that would feed on the poo? Sorry...

Is this slime algae? Is that bad?

Cool thanks guys. It doesn't really bug me. I jsut wasn't sure if it was more harmful than beneficial. I guess i'll leave it. It's a good reminder that i'm taking care of a living system since most of my tank right now is rock, sand and water... and the little baby snails lol. they're cute.

    Guess who's coming to dinner???

I'm not sure if you're aware of how dangerous those little guys might be, but you may already be aware that since they feed on zooanthids, it may be possible that they have concentrated levels of pylatoxin... just becareful not to squish them with your bare fingers as you may absorb some of the...

Is this slime algae? Is that bad?

Hey everyone. I'm at three weeks since my set up, 1 week of liverock. Today i noticed this rusty reddish brown growth on my sand where there is little water movement. Is it slime algae? should i siphon it out, or let it be? I read somewhere that part of the cycle involves the growth slime...

    My newly aquascaped 10 gallon

Hahah the cable ties are to keep the rocks together so they don't tumble down when i add fish or add my livestock. They will be coered up eventually by coral. as for the chaeto...i think it's just caught in a dead spot haha...it gets enough water movement from the powerheads, but not enough to...
