Anyone got some tips on attaching non-mounted mushrooms to pieces of liverock? I tried crazy glue but after a few hours, the mushroom slime just sorta negates the whole deal. I've tried using a cheesecloth to hold them in place before but they never attached... any tips?

Thanks for the help! Yeah another piece of my anthelia broke off. I noticed it when i came home today. It's funny because the "mother colony" is not that big to start with! haha should i just glue the pieces down?

The guy at my LFS said to run it cooler, esp since the lights kick in and warm things up considerably (I have a glass canopy over my tank to prevent splashing). I don't know if that is sales motivated (run cooler so livestock doesn't do so well and I have to go and purchase more) or what, but...

hey. I don't understand why my anthelia is doing this. It seems to have a portion of its tissue that's turning gray and looks considerably thinner than the rest of the healthy tissue. I can't figure out what's going on. Parameters are all normal. Ammonia - 0 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - 0 - 20...

Depending on the type of calcium you are using, it might screw up your alkalinity. For example, I think some calcium supplements might have carbonate added to the solution, giving you Calcium biCarbonate. Ca(HC03)2 is temp sensitive, so depending on your tank temperature it mighjt have driven...
