    PLEASE tell me im crazy....

Ok, I'll tell you :D Manarins really do need a larger tank. If you are even thinking of upgrading your tank, then now would be the time to work on the "pod farm" and get that all ironed out, make sure it's going to work.

    Teal sponge/leather???

It does look like a sponge. You'll notice over time that there can be many different colors as well as shapes of sponges that will just pop up in your tank.

    ADDING MORE LIVE SAND

Just as Sadie said. As long as you add alittle at a time you will be ok. By adding alot at one time, you're likely to upset the balance that you are trying to maintain.

questions regarding adding new LR to tank

Put the new LR in a bucket with a powerhead and heater, wait a week like Reefman said, and you should be able to add it in.

    Dirty tank bottom

Nassarius snails are a good idea. You know they're working when they smell food and they have to unearth themselves to go find it. :D

    orange ricorida

I understand that shrooms do not need to be fed, yet because mine (ricordea) readily eat (and consume) I do feed mine occasionally. I am only asking bacause I haven't heard of this myself, but what problems are you refering to in regards to intentional feeding?

    orange ricorida

I've tried to target feed mine with zooplex and it always closes up like its irritated, but readily accepts meaty food. I have heard of people feeding them with cyclopeeze.

    orange ricorida

If you have any form of pellet food, they will take them. I have a single orange ricordea that eagerly accepts pellets.

    Sea Slug???

I'll post an older picture of mine to rule it out. This is a stometella (sp) snail. Though I have heard them discribed with stripes I don't believe that I've seen an actual picture of one.
