my skimmer uses a PH....most skimmers use a pump of some sort...only a couple use air stones.

i agree with everyone else...if you can get a better shot it would make indentifing it easier.....easier said then done right....

your cup should be at water level......what kind of air stone are you using? the chamber doesnt really have to be sealed but you want the air bubbles to stay in the chamber. do you have a cover on the cup? if so it should have a hole for the air to excape. the smaller the bubbles the better the...

im pretty sure the bottom of the cup should be at water level.....i guess trial and error will be your best bet...

as of this second.....to my dismay.....this twenty long, is no more. i just finished my mods and i was adding my LR and the first piece i was putting in slipped out of my hand and went through the bottom....luckly there wasnt anything in either tank besides sand and rock. now everything...

are you going to add a surface skimmer?

just seperated my GBTA's from my largest piece of LR....everything went great. no problems.....they are stubborn though

whatever i have doesnt like light or current....so ive moved him in a low light and current area. ill have a pic when it opens back up

what are your opinions on that UV sterilizer?

you dont have to feed them,they'll do fine without. the only time i feed mine is once in a blue moon when they are cuped.well at least i try to feed them,havent actually seen one eat the food.

its just a single one, i picked it up last night and its kind of firm.ill have better pic today.

yeah....once the tank has cycled the yellow tang that im holding in my 20l will love to take care of it........

all my shrooms do this, not sur ewhy they do it either. i heard when they do this you cant target feed them. ive done it a couple of times,only got one to eat i think....i didnt watch it eat,food was there then it was gone when i got back.

this is his UV sterilizer....plumbing it as we speak. is this over kill? i have never done any research on UV sterilizers. how long shouid he run it each day? this tank is going to be mostly a fish only tank.
