will it work under water? or will i have to drain the tank alittle? i have been fragging my GSP and glueing them to LR rubble....it grows so fast that i have been selling it back to my LFS and its been paying for everything in and on my tank :mrgreen: :evil:

dj that is awsome how your xenia is growing on the glass like that...did you put it there or did it grow like that? triing to get my GSP and xenia to do that.....running out of space, the glass is my final frontier :mrgreen:

mike how much of a temp difference was there when you added the tops? how much evaporation do you still have with the tops on? just wondering for the 75gal that im helping set up.... going to be in the process of a DIY ATO....thanks for any info

most of all my bristle worms come out when i feed the tank, so when they stretch out i use a long pair of locking forcepts and pull them out. this method has worked good so far.have the trap but have better luck pulling them out. good luck sadielynn

i used 1" on both, but i had both back corners drilled(one return and one overflow or vise versa) so if i had to switch sides i could. but incysor is write its usually return..

leaffish, it looks about 3 1/2 -4 inches...the one i biult is 3 1/2".

try checking out the equipment flea market thread....you might be able to find something in there. the only problem with that is what you get is set up the way someone else wanted it and not the way you might need or want it. you can do a ten gal AGA , 96w 20" corallife fixture, heater...

im having the same problem with my SS. its tricky to get it balanced. i think ill try to make a differnt design. if i figure something out ill post it.

all my zoos are recooperating fine, i even have some new ones. its a mystery.

welcome to the site and the hobby wills, i dont have a nano cube but i am running a ten gal all glass aquarium. just me personally, i think you have more opptions with the AGA over the cubes JMO. its all up to you and what you want...what size where you looking at? what kind of stuff do you...

JMO i would just go with the refugium. i rarely ever use my skimmer anymore, ever since my refugium established itself. the skimmer still worked but didnt take out that much slug...it got thinner more transparent then it was almost clear. i took the skimmer out of my twenty and put it on my ten...

i have to rescape the tank to make room for some frags and other corals...pics as soon as it clears up..
