this is my buddies new setup.... day1

my LFS has a 270gal tank just for live sand. so you can buy any amount or weight you want. makes life alot easier when setting up small tanks. when you buy sand they add the same amount back. the water cycles through all there systems.

is this a tulip anenome? its about the size of a pencil eraser.i found it in my refugium. im keeping it in a jar so that i can observe it.i have seen it a couple times and then it vanishs for a month. im still keeping it in my refugium.

i'm running about 2" of sand in my ten gallon, about 15pds. i also have 3" in my twenty long,25-30pds.

what size are they?

all the posts and pics ive seen it placed near an over hang or cave. they move it out to target feed. i cant fine the post but when i do ill post it here.

heres a pic of my hacked skimmer....took about 5-6 inches off of it. still works great

these falls are about 1/4 mile away from my house, just off of my property. ride the trails there all the time...to get away

i run all coralife fixtures on my tanks. been very happy since. durability and look means alot to me, ill spend the extra money to have something that look right in both aspects.JMO

i am using the 50/50 bulb on my ten gallon. it works and looks great.well worht the investment.

definitly awsome pics...great set up also. makes me want to set up a new tank :mrgreen:

not a 100% sure but i think they all move. i know my GBTA move all over the place. never had a problem with them and other corals.they are both going back to my LFS cause they are out growing my tank.
