If you click on this link http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm And look at the picture under "ISOPODS" those are the exact same what I have all over the walls. Unless anyone has other ideas or pics I can look at? I would take a pic ED but the macro on the camera isn't that good...

    Pirate's Reef

Thanks PiratesReef... I have a current on my nano now I just have to get slaves to add on... I forgot what kind of moonlight I had. Plus I wanted to now if there was a cheaper alternative rather than buying more slaves to add on. Cause I think to be sufficient for a 66 gallon (48 inches) I'd...

2006 model 12g nano cube dx

Roo, That picture is probably a AIPTASIA (BAD). For using a maxi-jet 1200... I feel having an A/C in general for your room would be sufficient enough. As long as you room is at 60-70 degrees or less you should be fine. Or you can always switch yor lighting to nights rather than days (if...

My first Pico tank! New pics and Progress every week.

reefer73, Ha,ha,ha... I'm not that anal but for some reason I had a sense that I'd want to go to the next level as far as a bigger tank. Plus, it would be a pain trying to find materials and a box just to ship a glass nano when I auctioned it! Thats a great wattage, I have a 2x18 Coralife...

My first Pico tank! New pics and Progress every week.

reefer73, I myself just set up a 66 with live rocks and sands from an established tank. Yeah, changing the LS creates a new cycle but I'm waiting for atleat two weeks before I add any corals or fish. I'll add a cleanup crew but thats about it for now. Rather be safe than sorry. Plus I...

    What's this?

djconn, When you say strong flow, what do you mean by that? Like the polyps are side ways headed in that constant direction, or just rocking back and fourth? I had a strong current on my rock but it seemed as if it were to strong. So now they move in slow motion since the powerhead is...

    Long Green Hair Algae

LaFishLover, I have never heard of that either. Best way is to have a good flow and cut down on your lights for now. Thats what worked for me. Once a larger portion has been reduced get an algae blenny, or you can get it out manuely like drty811 suggest. For me, I left for vacation...

    water change

Jeff, I take it when they say, "Sit" that its in circulated water. For me, I have a small plastic trash can with a cheap powerhead, heater and a digital thermometer. What I do is I add regular tap water add anything that takes chlorin and your salt mix. If I do a small batch I...
