    What can this possibly be?

I have a colony of hairy mushrooms and noticed two tubes (like what a feather duster lives in) that are on the rock that the mushrooms are on. They open and close as if it were filtering for food. So I finally took a picture once the lights turned on and before the mushrooms expanded covering...

Quick question on Blastomussa Merletti and acanthastrea lord

Does anyone know wether or not Blastomussa Merletti and acanthastrea lordhowensis can stay under PC bulbs? I have 384 watts 50/50 bulbs that are PC for my 66 gallon tank and the top of the LS to the light is about 2 feet, but my aquascape can get the coral as close as 8-12 inches. Or is it...

Don't you hate it when the AC goes out...

Sorry to hear that DJ. Like what TimSchmidt said if it is covered you would most likely have to have receipts! Atleast that's what my buddy had to go through since he ex-roomate had an extra key and cleaned house on him!

    Yay! It's cycled!

Neddis, How long was your tank cycling for? If the cycling period is safe atleast 4 weeks I'd add a clean up crew and wait a week, test parameters again then add corals, then wait a week then add fish. Simple advice just to be safe

    dieing coraline algea

I'd scrape off what you can and filter it away with a net. Then I'd keep it on for 6 hours day... Once you see the algae fading away then its bring it back up to the normal bours you had keeping a close eye on it. I dpn't know if there is a diffrence between a lawnmower blenny and a algae...

    dieing coraline algea

Wow, thats how it looked behind my moon light strip that I left on 24/7. Yeah, just scrape it off and catch everything in a net, then cut back on the lights. I got an algae blenny that helped with my problem too. But that was my scenario which worked for me. Hope this helps...

    dieing coraline algea

token ride, Just like how the algae grew it would take the same amount of time to get rid of it. Here 1. Cut back your lighting have it on only when you want to check out the tank. So only 1-3 hours a day. 2. Get alot better flow if the flows there then don't worry, just make sure its...
