Panacur is the one I am thinking of..... I think you can get it on the sites that sell worm medicine for dogs.....which is what I think it is used for.

I would go with hydroids also..... I forgot the name of the chemical to kill them with, but you could get it by searching at www.seahorse.org

Relax.....it sounds bad, but everything follows simple steps, one at a time. You are so right about the many different ways of doing things, but there are still some solid rules of thumb. First pick out your tank, filter system and lights and then take it from there.
