I have been using the 25 watt Askoll compact heater, from Italy. It is only 6" long and very narrow, it almost hides itself. :razz:

Mike, I was checking out your tank again and I am still amazed, it looks great. I would like to ask you a couple of photo questions. What settings do you use to get such a clear full tank shot? Mine always come out looking crappy.... What light do you use? camera flash or room light? And...

I use the super glue gel, it's much thicker and easier to use.....

Looks great..... Keep up with your water changes and try and get the light a little lower, I think that would help. I have the same set up!

Ed, Sounds like a bad start, I would agree with the above info, just start slow and steady and keep a close eye on things. Don't keep trying additives to corect problems, just keep up with your water changes and let the take mature.....
