Yes, you can use it.... The R/O water machines at most drug stores will fill your jugs for about 25 cents a gallon, which I think is a good deal.

Keep up with your weekly water changes of 10% and you will prolly be fine..... That is a bit of a heavy bio load for such a new tank. Be sure not to over feed the fish! I can see it's going to be a very nice tank.
