    HELP!!!! please??

Yep, well I'm glad you found us. Honestly I see three outcomes: 1. Make a couple semi-expensive purchases to get your livestock through this 2. Find a place to house your livestock while you get your tank up to snuff 3. Make slow purchases and hope your livestock is hearty enough to survive...

Remove Copper - New Biocube 14 Gallon

Umm, honestly I've never came across this as I have been in the frame of mind that copper is horrible to have in our display tanks. I don't know if you can remove the copper to an acceptable level to ever house invertebrates. You may have a fish only with live rock tank. I'll look around, but...

Hi from me and my new orca tl450

I would wait about a month. What is the water volume? I don't know if you can get them where you are but I like the stealth heaters as they are plastic exteriors and don't explode ... ever. Titanium heaters are nice too, but that's up to you and what's available. My skimmer sits on top of a...

    Chillers for 28g nano

I don't use chillers, but it all depends on how much chilling power you need. For our nano tanks I've seen those Ice probes work well, or you could just use a JBJ nano chiller (they made your tank after all...).

    Nitrogen Cycle

I keep my water at 1.026 as well, but there is an acceptable range. For reefs I tend to want to get as close to natural sea water so I don't have to supplement my calcium and alk. Your tank is always cycling. It just seems you didn't have a large spike to start off the initial nitrogen...

    My 20 Gallon Build...

:welcome to Nanotank! Looks like you've done a bit of research! For the Nova just make sure each bulb has an individual reflector, otherwise you are buying expensive compact flourescent bulbs. For the flow I prefer more powerheads at a lower rate than just a coupel really strong ones. This...

Is this filter good for my new 2.5g tank?

Well. If the water movement doesn't bother you then I would just keep it.

    New coral pic's

Yep. I love that splash of color. I normally see a lot of green, blue, and purple in tanks. That yellow is bright and refreshing.

    My 24G new tank

Well to "frag" normally means that we (reefers) fragment the coral whenever we want smaller pieces. however most coral will "frag" itself by growing and dividing. And then it's all a matter of how much they have to use to grow (CA and ALK for stoney, other building materials for softies) and...

    My 24G new tank

Eventually you will have to frag some corals, but that gives you something to trade for other frags! (or equipment). Nice bubble coral btw.

    sea horses

you can have corals and sea horses together. however, I would advise against having a seahorse is a nano tank. They are particularly sensitive to water parameter changes and don't tolerate fast water movement very well. Also they are slow and picky eaters, so they generally need a species...
