    40g Custom Rimless Reef Build

 This looks familiar! Are you going to add more rock? Or is it going to be for frags?

    starting a new 20L

For a tank that size I would use the 1 as the nanos are nice but for a tank that size it may not give the flow you'll want/need.

    Finally put my tank together...

For T5s you don't have to over do it with the 10,000k bulbs. I would do two "daylight" bulbs and two "actinics". One of the other reefers posted up some great results with 20,000k bulbs for GREST SPS coloration!

    Lights for 2.5 gallon

That glass top is probably where your heat is getting trapped in. Try to find a way to get "legs" put on your light and then remove the glass. Your evaporation rate will go up but your heat should go down quite a bit.

    Got my tank and stand!

Well patience will be your best friend!! Tough thing is that it would have been ideal to have water and rocks in the tank so the cycle can go a long way. Is the car going to be fixed soon? :cool1:

It's all in the code... all that has to happen is the following The real important thing is the tag tag at the end.

Tank build lihks in you signature line.

A great suggestion came in where as if you put a link to you tank build in the signature line it will be easy for someone to see your tank and what you have gone through. It can help us find each others builds with out having to search through out the forums. It's quite easy to do as well...

    24g Aquapod

Sounds more than reasonable. I like the open look.

    JBJ 28G HQI

Local deal... no real help as it was the last one too. It's one of the older (new in box though) mini articas with the non-digital controller ( and thus the possibility of not being accurate ) but I saved enough to afford the digital controller upgrade if need be. My future investment is more...

    bio cube 8

To get more room you could always take out the ballast and make a remote ballast. You could cram a ton of light in there then...

    Finally put my tank together...

I'd wait for the tank to mature before going that route though. :cool1: NICE add! Every LM blenny I've seen has a TON of personality. How's the water quality going? P.S. You can NEVER have too many photos. Thanks for posting them.

    Lights for 2.5 gallon

Tanks can't go very long with out water movement. The water stagnates quickly, power failure is actually a VERY bad thing. Photobucket is a great site for being easy to use and has about the easiest way to post pictures. After uploading a photo onto photobucket there will be some lines of...

    Got my tank and stand!

The stock JBJ pumps are not RIO pumps. They are Accela pumps. I don't know about the affiliation or if the two companies are related. I've not have an issue with my pumps, it's just the pumps I use are just a bit stronger than the stock pumps. (I keep the stock pumps in case of a failure - aka...

    JBJ 28G HQI

Nice coloration! In the first picture what is that top center? Star looking item? Well, I did it. I was torn between the current usa prime 1/15th chiller and the JBJ mini artica 1/15th chiller. Well, I just bought the artica as the prime chiller was stating it needs 2 foot by 2 foot open air...

    24g Aquapod

Does that stand have support for if and when the tank sways? I like the look, I am just concerned that it may collapse as 24g equals about 184 pounds or so (1 gallon is 8 pounds).

    bio cube 8

At the bottom there you should be able to remove those pins in the hinge. I couldn't find a breakout in pdf. Or....you could just mod the hood while it's hinged up. :wlift I'm moving this to the nano section to keep it clean. :langle

Can we get a shot of the lights and top of the tank? I have a few ideas, but need to see what we are dealing with. :cool1:

    JBJ 28G HQI

So it's finally here. I purchased this tank to downsize my 90 gallon due to my move into a condo. I choose this tank due to the integrated HQI and my experience with the smaller cubes. My hopes are to not have to modify this too much. I may invest in a chiller (only summer will tell), upgrade...
