    New office Nano

Hmmm, are you sure you have enough pods to support that six-line? Six lines are, by the way, one of my favorite fish. It will get very big as it ages. I honestly don't think he will be healthy in a 5 gallon. Yeah, is that also an angelfish? Be nice guys :color:

My 16 gal. with softies and frags

Yeah, watch that xenia in the middle though. I can see that spreading very quicky throughout all your rock and all.

    Auto top-off for a nanocube?

With the enclosed hood and all, I was wondering if it was possible to use an auto top-off float switch? Anyone currently using one in their cube?

April Contest - enter your best 'buddies' photo

That is correct. I usually have to resize a few photos and get them onto our servers which usually takes a few hours. We will then vote until the end of the month to determine a winner.

Should I go wireless? Computer guys, I need your help

Well after a few month of wireless, I'm beginning to think maybe it wasn't such a wise purchase. My signal strength reads excellent (router is only 10 feet away thru a wall) but I keep losing my connection. I've talked to Linksys about five times and they've had me change frequency channels in...

    Fish Help!

Good questions incysor. That is all I can think of as well. It has to be a water quality issue IMO. With all that dieoff, Nitirites and Nitrates might be high?? I would do a hefty water change but that is just me. Bummer.

    what kind of salt

I've been using Oceanic for about a year with positive results. It dissolves in 5 mins and is ready to go. Alk is a little low buy Ca is right on target. I've heard the stories about diatoms blooms as well but it hasn't happened to me yet. [-o<

    sos nano crash

So you basically rearranged some rockwork, in an effort to get a fish out, and then your tank got cloudy? How long did you let things settle after moving all the rock? Was you LR ever out of water and if so, how long? What about your corals? Just trying to get a clear picture of...

Do you keep a clam in your nano?

I've got 130 PC watts on my 20 gallon. Not strong light by any means but I keep the clam near the top. He's been happy for over a year now.

World's first all-glass undersea restaurant opens

Pretty interesting write-up. The Aquarium Restaurants in Kemah and Houston,TX come to mind. I also thought they had one at Epcot Center in Florida. This one does sound nice though. Anyone have $200 to lend me for a quick bite  ? http://www.travelbite.co.uk/activities/ ... 301451.htm

    29 gallon lighting?

MH would probably be your best bet if you can afford it. Most folks get into this hobby at first by utilizing cheaper power compact lighting. Sometime down the line, they soon realize that they wish they had just spent the extra couple hundred on MH so they aren't restricted as to what kinds...

    10g Nano lighting question

Hi Grysinski, 50 PC watts would be just fine for a 10 gallon for keeping shrooms, GSP and other softies. What kind of light is it? Who is the manufacturer? The watts per gallon rule really doesn't apply for nanos. Welcome to the site!
