Yeah, the AQ500 is easy and cheap. You can't really beat that. Let us know what you decide and post some pics once you get it setup with the light and all. I'm thinking about throwing one on my 10 gallon growout tank.

Interesting article. I liked hearing how each specimen did in each individual tank. I won't probably ever try gonis again. I had a yellow and a purple and they both did okay for about 3 months then just withered away to nothing. Might have been low nitrates according to your study...

I bought my Marshall Islands LR from premium aquatics a few years ago and was very happy with it. Just thought I'd throw that one out there.

I've heard from at least one other member that they cannot post a new topic either. I'm going to be doing a major upgrade in the next few days and this should hopefully clear things up.

Its just full of spam and other pop ups get installed. They go right into your registry and its pretty much impossible to remove them or uninstall them. I had Kazza Lite on a laptop a few years ago and it pretty much ruined it. Just be careful. The newer versions might be cleaner.

Re: light mod I used my dremel, which by the way, is the best tool in the entire world if you don't have one yet. It took quite awhile to cut through it b/c it was pretty thick metal. I was glad I did it though. Now I can get the light at least 6-8" closer to the tank.

As in the download program? If so, I'd recommend the Kazza Lite version but I would be very careful. I wouldn't install it again on my pc but that is just me.
