Are you sure you dont have a leak that you are compensating with RO water? That is one of the only reasons I could see for a drop in salinity. Are the bubbles comping out of your rock or off of algae? Sometimes some algaes givve off gas bubbles. Jesse

It is because they are grazers and generally cannot find enough food ina small nano tank to do well long-term. They can also be finicky (spelling??) eaters as well. Jesse

Which salt mix are you using? You may want to try one that has a higher pH. Otherwise, I use Seachem's Reef Buffer. But like you said, that can cause the pH to rise as well. What is the temp of the replacement water when you test the pH? Jesse
