HAHAH that's hillarious! Are you using red capped blood collection tubes for the top two? lol! What a creative way to use a vacuutainer!

Yea it is a red top vacutainer
Dragon there is no flow in the smaller ones I may put a ph in the small one but the micro is a blood collection container and only houses some pissed off gsp and an astrea star

Are you planning on using MHs with either one? Those are some wild little tanks. Do you think you will keep them set up for awhile to see how they do?

yea I will keep them up for a bit to see how they function
I thought with the smaller of the 2 I would use MH and put a tang in it
and the larger of the 2 pico will house a pair of maroon clowns with an anenome :lol3:

Sadie beat me to it but the second one looks like a good home for a Moorish Idol.

Just a suggestion.

Very cool, Sadie! I am interested to see how the larger one does.

The second one makes me think of a top to a clear butter dish. I guess with a little imagination anything that will hold water and is see through is a potential pico-reef.

It came from walmart craft department it is basically a butter dish as you said Skip I will be adding some small button polyps to see how it does since there is no lighting just yet . I am looking into a small 13 watter to see if I can light it at all or if that is just not gonna happen . I have a power head in the top and a led moon light for it that I will post pics of soon

Too bad you are not a big DIYer, that second tank would be a good one to try lighting with all LEDs. They had a tank at MACNA that was a 2 1/2 lit with 6 LEDs that looked pretty good but they said they just set it up and had no idea how well it would do in the long run. They used a heat sink from an Icecap ballast to serve as the hood and mounted the LEDs on the bottom.
