Rip,

I am going to tell you a short story, about when I had my son. I was about the same as you and all excited and just so happy. This old timer was checking out my son and says to me, " enjoy him and when he turns 13 take him down to the lake and drownd him." Well to say the least, I was appalled and in shock, that he would even say such a thing. Was funny because I thought about it from time to time and would just go on about raising my son.
Well thirteen came and then fourteen came and I started to realize just what he was talking about. By sixteen, I had wished I had listened to him. Somehow I survived to 18 and my son was off to college. I thought, man this kid went off into space around 13 and is off to school at 18, I wonder when he will come back to earth?
Each year of college passed and it seemed old dad was getting smarter and smarter each year. My son was asking real questions and even wanted to sit and talk! Now 2 years later he is married and doing well as a mortgage banker and calls every day and is always wondering when dad and mom are going to come and visit.
It seems like yesterday that I was holding him at the hospital, I blinked my eyes and here I sit. Enjoy every min. you can with the family and think of the old man, when your son hits 13. Then think of me when he hits 18 and comes back to earth!!!

LOL!!!!! That is funny! Thank you!

I was picking up a prescription for my wife and got to talking to the pharmacist. He was talking about how beautiful babies are and pregnancy is. He just kept talking about how wonderful the whole situation is and telling me the best day of his life was when his son was born. He then asked me if I knew what the second happiest day is as a father?... and of course after talking so kindly about everything I was anxious to hear his loving response and then he said....... "When they move out!" It was pretty funny.

Thanks again for the response. Its cool to hear from people who are or have gone through what I'm now experiencing. Its a pretty amazing thing!

Take care.

Ok back on track...

Picked this little guy up today. It's an orange/pink yuma. It was under PC so I expect it to color up quite a bit but for now its pretty as is.

Here's a better shot of one of the blue shrooms.

Thanks guys. I'm almost finished. Just looking for some true eagle eyes and then I'll just let everything fill in.

I still have some pink skirted Yumas sitting in a holding tank that I'm debating on putting in. They look awesome but they grow quick and have a lethal sting so I'm kinda hesitant.

I decided to put the pink skirted yumas in and see how they do. There's like 7 of em that are penny to quarter sized on this rock.

I also added a couple moonlights.

Eddy, I was trying to find a link for you but arent having any success. I think they came from Petco. I'm not sure though... my brother bought em.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the yumas. I have probably 50 of them in my grow out tank. I'd be willing to do a thermos trade if anyone is interested.

Yep... the pink skirted. Your first in line. What do you have to trade? How's that purple yuma you had doing?

I'll actually make you a deal... I'll send you one of these no charge but you gotta promise when your purple splits you send one my direction... deal?:)
