You know, I may have to pick up a 1gallon just to post with Karita. She's got this whole section monopolized!

I am ashamed to say I really haven't changed anything in my tank for awhile. I am in the middle of finishing up finals and will be heading out of town this weekend for about 2 months. My two corals will spend the summer in my boyfriend's tank and when i get back i hope to get the new lighting system up finally, and get some more organisms in there (other than these freakin worms).
So, I won't bore you with pics of the same thing

I've had 6hrs of sat classes for the last 14 weeks, I finished everything up this past sat, two presentations and rest of work turned in so I can cruise the last two weeks. The worst part is that we're having our final sat morning of memorial day weekend!!! Can you believe that? I would have had four days off and gone camping but nope... Dammit.

You gotta be when you have to go in and take care of animals for a living. Back when I was working at my old LFS, we had over 400 tanks, which equated to well over 50,000 gallons of water, that we had to take care of each and every day, and I had to be there at 4 in the morning just to get everything up and running and ready to go. So I consider this job a bit of a vacation after 4 years of that...

To answer your question:
I am DONE with finals - yeah!! I have 7 weeks off now \:D/
My tank is officially "put away for the summer".... my 2 corals are vacationing in my boyfriend's larger tank, and are probably much happier in there!!! Next time I post a pic I'll have my upgraded lighting and a lot more stuff in there. I have a list of like 4 or 5 things I want to get! Now that I know I can actually keep stuff alive, and have a better idea of what will work and what won't, I"m really excited!
I am considering getting a yellow neon goby.... what are your thoughts on having one of those guys in my little tank? Do you think he'll be cramped?

you'd have to get a larger tank for any type of fish. you should go wiuth something like a 7 or 10 gallon. Still pretty small but you can do a lot more with it.

Oh no! Now someone else will have to step up with another itty bitty tank...

Oh yeah, well, I dropped some polyps on the ground and stepped on them. Being wet, they are in approx. 1/1000th of a gallon of water. So there :D

Here's a pic of me working on it:

PS - No, I didn't really step on any polyps...
