alright the new scape is done........ it took nearly 2 months to move everything around but i'm now about 2/3 - 3/4 SPS. i have a bunch of LPS's laying in the sand and still have the zoa mound in the middle. i really like the new look....
pet rock on the left end

zoas and LPS lagoon in the middle

low profile SPS right end

a couple macros for fun

yea erik its grown too much - amature mistake i put too many corals too close together - it was alright in the nano cause they didn't grow as fast but since going in the 125 they have all hit a growth spurt

since rearranging the tank i have gained a lot of real estate and plan on filling it with exceptional pieces of SPS
new coral to share a pic of its a wild caught A. latistella (so they said anyway). its colored like a A. plana - cream with emerging purple tips. its a bit beat up but overall looks healthy.

WOW AMAZING nice.... you really good father.... thx for the update i need to do the same but mine are kinda missing you the orange(bambam) they open like 3 times a week no growth, orange with green skirt & radioactive ones open once in awhile but cause of aptasias so i have to nuke them soon... then the armor of god or whatever the ones doing it's best got 1 polyp and a baby have 4 polyps and 1 baby...

Dear friend john ill try my best on next week to take pictures of your colonies at least they still alive just a morph the ones with orange center and yellow/green skirt they turned like a neon light green color not sure why? lol... they might be sick :iill :lol3:

anyways nice tank as always...

hey ed good hearing from you again - been a while, and yeah your zoas are doing great - they loved the day i moved them from the nano to the 125
well 1 more pic then i'm done for a while again. the saga continues in the conversion to SPS. i finally have a scape i can be happy with for awhile so i'm going to relax and just let it grow
i got the profile way down all the way across - no "fruit stand" here! and plenty of room for growth and everything is out that i want out for now.
this is the best i can do at a FTS:

thanks jesse and erik :)
wow ed your zoa forest always amazes me. all the frags seem to have spread some but yeah i see what you mean, they don't seem as happy as many of your others - the color change i imagine is due to them adjusting to your lighting. i suspect though that one day they will bloom for you. you do have a real knack with zoas.

my new "pet rock" not nearly as nice as the other but after i glue 1/2 a dozen acros on there it will be sweet!
its been curing about 2 weeks at a pet store and i'm going to spend the next two weeks drilling it and deciding on exact placement while cooking before it is ready to enter the display. it will be the center piece of the right side after i glue 6-8 of my acros on it
that is a 18" styro lid it is sitting on - 15.5 lb'er!

well i don't know about the master piece part, :) but i got impatient and glued it all together. i wanted to take my time and do a piece or two at a time but once i got started well you know..
anyway i don't know if i like it though....... its almost too organized or something, hopefully the growth patterns will emerge and make it more natural looking.

BTW i busted a bunch of frags off in the process really ticks a guy off you know??? it takes forever to grow these darn things out nice and then one little slip of the hand and you got frags again!
