It's all in the code... all that has to happen is the following

Code:
[img]www.yourphoto.com[/img] The real important thing is the tag [img] in the beginning and the [/img] tag at the end.

That glass top is probably where your heat is getting trapped in. Try to find a way to get "legs" put on your light and then remove the glass. Your evaporation rate will go up but your heat should go down quite a bit.

well as you can all see I got some new friends today. I took a sample of my water to the LFS and they said my tank was ready for some more tuff if I wanted, so I got a good clean up crew. I got thatnice looking shrimp you see in the picture above. two hermit crabs, and an emrald crab ( I'm From Ca. so spelling is not my best trait) and then this cool looking frag, cant remember the name of it though. so here is a question for someone. why is it the coral doesn't look the same as it did in the store. it was already growing on that piece of rock so it's not like I had to attatch it. will it come out more, and spread soon?

ok latest issue. So there I was, a rookie and all, and listening to my LFS tell me my tank was ready for this frag to go in there, I think I have kiied it. these poor little things are starting to turn a little brown color, and from what I know from fresh water, this can't be good. so can anyone tell me what I have done wrong. I looked at the water levels myself and saw that all the water readings were here they should be, and I'm not sure if the lights not being on 24/7 had any thing to do with it, but ever since I put these things in my tank, only 2 od the pods opened up and not even fullyI have only one not that is slowly turning the same color as the others and not too sure what to do. I will post pictures in a sec. HELP!!!!!!

Nice shots, well corals *can* close up due to the move from one tank to the next. Did you do anything to acclimate the coral? (Float it in a bag to match temperatures and slowly add in small amounts of tank water to the bag to help the coral adjust?)

yes, I didn't ask the LSF I just thought that was how it was done, I guess it might have been the move. as for the nice shot. that was the best out of 7 shot, I still think it's kind of blury though.

well I was trying to post pictures, but my wife said I really need to go get in the shower so we can go to the store. so I will post pics later, but the waiting thing really works, the coral figured now was a good time to come out, I was happy to see it pop out when I came home form work.

my green button polyp frag sat in my sump for 6 months, I thought they were dead.
Pulled them out and they came to after a few weeks. zoas, stars and other encrusting matt corals can get very stressed after a move and may not come out for up to 3 weeks.

ok, so here is a question, what is the thing in the lower center of this picture. I was thinking some kind of warm, but not sure. it has never moved so that threw that idea out for me.
