very nice love that orange skirt in the 4th pic - is it the lighting that makes it glow like that or has it always been that knock your socks off color??????

John, the shots were taken with only the actinics on and the white balance adjusted... kinda cheating! I think you are referring to my fire-n-ice frag... definitely one of my nicest colonies.
Eddy, the brain too was taken with only the actinics with the WB adjusted but it definitely is improving in health. When I received it there was really only tissue within the mouth areas. Now the tissue has extended beyond the highest parts of the skeleton.
Brian, I have more pics, I just need to get around to posting them.
AND, I am pretty ticked because I didn't receive the replacement ballast today. I'm gonna send the company an email tonight to try to get a tracking #, and if I dont receive it tomorrow, it's time to crack some skulls!!!

very nice - love the lights is that all 4 yet?
I have all four lamps up and running and like it alot. I want it to look more blue though, so I am going to buy another ATI Blue Plus and first try it in place of the UVL Super Actinic. If that isnt blue enough...which I dont think it will be... I am going to use it in place of one of the ATI Aquablue Specials. The T5HO's are killer though, and the ATI Blue Plus is an INCREDIBLE lamp. It is a very nice blue actinic with a TON of output.
