over the week end we recieved our 2 newest addtions some zoas and "Going For Broke " Now before anyone flames I did research and went ahead to try this I did alot of questioning and felt that I could meet his needs . Stats ; "Going For Broke" is a captive bred horse . The tank has been up for about a year he is eating frozen mysis shrimp . The flow in the tank has not proved to be a problem for him as of yet. However I do turn off the pumps for 2 hours a day for feeding . He is feeding from a pipette so he gets all his food . I feed the clown 2 pellets to occupy him away from the seahorse .
So here is he is "Going For Broke"
WARNING THESE ARE LARGE VIDEOS THEY WILL TAKE TIME TO LOAD

What size of tank do you have him in?

Congratulations Sadie, what a gorgeous addition to your tank.
I've seen sea horses in saltwater planted tanks before, but never in a reef tank.
Any special requirements to keep them in a nano reef tank?

Just keeping water quailty high
and overfiltering. Captive bred are the hardiest of all and acclimate
to all sorts of enviroments

One other thing I forgot to say Aromano is that we also shut the pumps off at feeding time . Thanks for the compliments folks

How very cool. Sea Horses have always been one of my favorites. When I was young my parents had quite a few in their tank.
