Hey,
I just got a bunch of frags from an aquaintance, and I would like to know if anyone knows what they are, or has any tips for care. It was 40 bucks for the lot, from a fellow whose tank is so overgrown he needed to frag them to make room. So please excuse my ignorance, but it was too good a deal to pass up. They all seem to be doing well enough in the last 3 days. I've spot fed them all Cyclopeeze so far.
Frag#1- Just a cool little zoo colony.
Frag#2- A little green dude that doubled in size already.
Frag#3 - I know this is a hammer but I just thought it was cool.
Frag#4- I think this is some sort of xenia, am I right?
Frag#5- This one is a very strange one. It is bunch of polyps on a leathery kind of matt-like surface. I have no idea how to attach it. So I really need to ID this one. I don't even know what it is supposed to look like.
Frag#6- I know this is an SPS, but he had to frag it as it was stinging another of his corals, so he put it in free. This won't survive in my tank will it. I have a stock NC24. It has good polyp extension so far. Its got the prime spot in my tank inder the lights and with the best flow.
Thats all for now. Everything seems to be doing very well with these new aquisitions. Though I think my cabbage coral from before is on the way out. That is the only one that is not doing well.
