UPDATE:

Last weekend I had time to dip my zoa's and LR using Mucho's recipe. I also syphoned the top layer of my sand bed while I was at it. It took a couple of hours to do everything (including reaquascaping), but I felt good and was happy with the results. Most of my zoa's are opening back up again.
I removed my Hydor rotating deflector for more flow and added 2 Jaebo 40gph pumps on timers for wavemaking.

Here a some new pictures I took today. Hope you guys like it. Thanks for looking!

It makes me sad that I had to dismantle both tanks. I enjoyed keeping them both and know that I will be back real soon. :cryinga: I've got some left over equipment to start up another tank. I've got a 20H that I'm thinking of turning into a LRWFO. Something I thought my kids will enjoy. Not really sure but we'll see.

Man, you have the best looking nano I've ever seen.

Could I talk you into putting up the measurements and materials for the 'sump' area? I'd REALLY like to do what you've done.

Another question I have involves the chiller. How did you make that? It looks like it's simply a computer fan and cpu heat sink but I'm not sure how you did all that tubing etc.

Again...GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks arichardson! Not quite sure of the exact measurements for the sump area but it is aproximately 4" in depth. I used 1/8" black acrylic but I notice that it was bowing so would I definetly recommended using 1/4" acrylic if you plan to build one yourself. The chiller is for a nanocube and they can be purchased at Nanocustoms.com. I just made an acrylic bracket for it hang on the back of the tank. :)
