well erik i just bit the bullet and bought a pair of yashia's and shrimp - i pick them up tomorrow. any final words of advice on acclimating them. i'm a bit worried about them finding each other in the 125. put the shrimp in first or the fish??? what do you think it will be late tomorrow just before the lights go out. i want them to end up under my far right rock but obviously they'll do what they do :) also how worried do you think i need to be about jumping?
btw sweet tank! i really like your elegance and that scolimia?? if you still have the elegence this time next year i may just have to try one of those too :)

i acclimated all at the same time and relaeased at the same time. i kind of released them as close to where i wanted them and they burrowed right where i wanted them. jumping, mine never have and i dont have a top on my tank. the elegence is one of my favorite corals. good luck with your yasha's and pistol.

well after an hour or so surfing the web and forums, looking for info on breeding bangii cardianls. really didnt come up with that much. no real good pics. alittle frustrated with it all i sat down at my tank to feed. i noticed one of my bangii's mouth enlarged....hes carring eggs. really didnt notice it before so i dont know how long its been but he did open his mouth and they look like they are pretty far along. babies would be really cool. ill try to get some pics soon. updates will be noted.

Oh wow... how cool is that! I would love some pics but I imagine that would be pretty difficult to shoot.

went up to see if i could get acouple pics and for some reason the male doesnt have the eggs in his mouth anymore. still triing to find them, hope he didnt eat them.
