Updated pictures of my 12g tank. Thanks again for all the comments. I've rearranged the rocks to make room for the rock with the yellow zoos, I've added a small purple/green ricordea, and there is a new invert in there (pistol shrimp). You can't see him, but you can see the one of many holes he's dug right under the rock with the zoos. Enjoy!

My mistake everyone, those ARE yellow polyps. I'm expecting more things to add today (hopefully). I'll post more pictures one I get them settled in.

nice tank love the type and design of your layout.
my yellow polyps love a lot of light and flow - open better when i have them high and in a good enough flow to make the tentacles move around briskly.....

Here is an updated photo of the red & blue mushroom, the lime green and metallic orange zoas, and our first fish the clown fish. I can't get the pistol shrimp and my starfish to come out for pics. Sorry again if the pictures are not that great.

Metallic Orange Zoa

Lime Green Zoa

Clown Fish

A not so great pic of the Blue Mushroom

Another not so great pic of the Red "Stubborn" Mushroom

I hope to add more coral next week, I'll keep you guys posted of those with some pics. [/b]

Hey guys.. how quick do zoas multiply? Because I would really like to see my zoas expand on the bridge.

Dont hold your breath. It depends on a handful of different variables but if you want help em out and increase their rate of growth dose with Iodine. A buddy shared that with me maybe a month ago and I cant believe the difference. I use the Kent Iodine and dose one drop everyday in my 4 gallon. THe difference has been pretty crazy.

Ripcurrent,
Which iodine are you using? Is it the Tech I? The reason I ask is that someone not familiar with their product line could mistakenly get Kents Lugols Iodine thinking that it would be easier to dose the drop a day since the bottle is fitted with an eyedropper. For those unfamiliar with this product the dose is like 1 drop per either 25 or 50 gallons (bad memory). This is one product that you really need to use a test kit before adding because iodine is toxic at levels that are too high.
IME medium to high flow and target feeding zoos a couple of times weekly along with good light and they'll reproduce and spread fairly quickly.

Maubee what a great aditions i love you orange skirt zoo's & that clown is so unike i love it......and they growth of the zoos just give them time dont move them and provide a prestine water quality & enough light and then they eventually will grow.
