    get a small jardeni... looks like an anemone (better looking in my opinion), some clowns will actually host in them, and they dont move!

    i feed my fish twice a day just as much as they can eat in 15 secs i think you should pick the feeding right up to an absolute minimum of once a day.

    0.03 is ideal, enough phosphate for everything to grow, but not too much to cause harm, however unles you have phytometer or colourmeter you wont be able to check this. wait until nothing shows up, then hold that for 2 weeks and you should be right. :mrgreen:

    looks like things are returning to normal... as frustrating as it may be continue the way you're going until you have phosphates at .05 or less for two weeks. once this occurs, you should be right to start back adding livestock. also the freshwater tank looks nice!

    what is your light schedule? do not deprive it of light rather then as time said, backign down on photo period. do you have any/many hermit crabs in your tank... i'd probs look at having at least 4-6 as these will help with the clean up!

    the phosphates can come from a variety of different places... if you are feeding any frozen foods (marine green/frozen brine/mysis etc.) this can normally be your cause. to avoid this, you should defrost you frozen food on paper towel to soak up all moisture. or better yet make up your own...

    i think that phosphates are definately your issue here mate... if nothing else is showing up. take some water down to nielsens and ask them to check it for phosphates.

    certainly is a yuma tim... rics aren't hard to come by, you just need to know what LFS's have them, however can be expensive. i picked that one up for just $30, however there were other ones for sale of up to $450. they are becoming more and more available as time goes on. i'm glad you like...
