Jesse, Believe it or not, I once adored that place when my brother and I first found it. I've been back each season and I personally dislike it more and more. The prices are bad and the all the dry goods are no where near a good deal... Sorry you have the same bitter taste as I do.... MG

It's almost like a reservoir of tank water where you can grow macro algae to control nitrates the end by product of the nitrogen cycle... It's also a place that you can drop in a heater, return pump, and skimmer. Sort of like a garage to the house, the water heater is efficient but not made...

In a small nano I would go for the Reef Keeper 1. I ran a RK1 in both my 12 gallon JBJ cubes... They controlled two rio 90's in the intake grill. That was enough current to keep SPS corals... MG

That sump looks clean... I like that look... You'll want a extremely efficient skimmer if you plan on having a big bioload in your tank... Make sure you go with a overated skimmer for your size tank... The Euro-reef skimmers are great drop in sump design at great prices... MG
