I dont have experience with wavemakers, but let me just remind you to make sure you buy powerheads that cna be powered by a controller. Some dont work with controllers and wont come back on right away when turned off.

Just my Nanocube (12DX), is that too small for a wave controller?

Thanks,

Eric

i have two natural waves (the 3x 1200 in my 125 and the 3x 900 in my fiji and really like them) drs F&S sells these with the MJ's to go with them but unless your putting SPS in that 12 even the three x 400 kit will be very "brisk" for most corals when added to your return

In a small nano I would go for the Reef Keeper 1. I ran a RK1 in both my 12 gallon JBJ cubes...

They controlled two rio 90's in the intake grill. That was enough current to keep SPS corals...

Hi Mike,

Where can you get the Reef Keeper 1 from? I have never heard of it.

Thanks,

Eric

I personally wouldnt even bother with any sort of wave controller in a nano... just go with a couple of small converging powerheads. Wave controllers and Reef Keepers are expensive and rather unnecessary for a nano.
