    Hermit Crab Question

    I have 4 inhabitants in my nano tank, 1 damsel and 3 hermit crabs. This morning when I went to turn on the light and feed my fish I noticed hundreds of little mostly transparent-floaty-taily things in the water. Could these be hermit crab larvae? and if so, what do I do with 100's of hermit...

    yeah, I got a hydrometer that works now.. and the salinity of the boxed premixed water i've been using from petco is really really high. So, I'm considering mixing my own water from now on. At least I caught that before I sent some fish/inverts to their death in my salt tank of doom! :)

    Water Test Results

    New results as of 4/16/06 Ph - 8.0 Ammonia - 0 Alk - Normal 1.7-2.8 Nitrites - 0 Nitrates - 5.0 Temp- 78 Salinity 1.021 I guess these results are alot better than my last... Tank has been cycling for about 2.5 weeks :)

    How namy pounds of LS/LR do you think i'd need for a 12g nano? I've just been browsing on ebay and other places while my nano is still being shipped... also still need to get a marine lab for water testing among other things... Anyway I just wanted a general idea... Thanks! :wors:

    I ordered a 12g deluxe nano... so i'll have that soon! I probably wont be able to buy LS/LR, etc until next payday. I took marine biology in high school, but I dont remember any of it... so i'm sure i'll be coming to this board alot for advice. :-)
