Identify this creature..

This little guy got sucked into my filter and didn't think he was harmless and ended up adding him to my tank. I couldn't identify this thing and so far from the description I gave, people believed it to be some type of snail. He looks like rollie pollie with two horns, and no larger than a centimeter. It had cast all these webs all over my rock and decided that I didn't want him in there anymore. Does anyone know what this little guy is and what his purpose is (harmless/not harmless)? Thanks

I agree isopod remove bad you dont want him as they attach to fish and can kill em :twisted:

Yeah, I wouldn't want to have one of those big isopods. Well thanks for identifying it, I dipped him in hot water and threw him away. If I wouldn't have known I wouldn've let him in there. Thanks again.

i agree with isopod. just on another note, i think if i found something that looked like that in my tank, i would take pics, flush ,and then ask questions. that things nasty looking. good call on taking him out.
