Yeah, i've heard of them. They primarily make tanks for the industry. IE, holding tanks, frag tanks, etc. Some of their work is a bit sloppy. There has to be another place here in Houston.

When trying to find a pair of percs, say at your lfs, which are being kept with a bunch of percs in one tank, how does one find a male and a female in hopes of pairing them? Thanks for the insight.

No, that was right :) They sell fiji for 3.50 per lb. Looked at a shipment the other day a day after they recieved it. Not the best looking in terms of growth and coloration, but a decent price. I'll have to visit the lfs's in Houston and see what they have to offer.

Since I cannot edit.. On that price, it can't be right. It's gotta be 4.50 or 5.50 per pound. I'll check with them to make sure. l8r

I'll second the not so-great service. Been there a few times. Nice selection of fish, but some are not so healty looking. Yeah, ditto on the frags. Not much to chose from .. fyi

how are you guys placing your rock on sand bedded tanks? Are you placing it on egg crate?

I havent yet set up my tank yet. I'm getting quite close to deciding just what i want to do and getting to know whats available in the Houston area. The Houston section gets my vote ;)

word to big bird. Neptunes has a few things, more than most. Didn't know much about my clam questions and told me that more than 5watts a gallon was crazy ;) There's a hole in the wall just west of almeda mall that has a nice selction of fish, but other than that not much on this side of town.
