    My Tank!

Well...you might be able to fit one of those retros from my previous post. That hood has the filtration built into it, right? That makes it alot harder to add any lighting to it.

    My Tank!

Are you sure that your tank is 5 gallons? The only reason I ask is that I went to Marinland's website to check some specs and I only saw a 3 gallon, 6 gallon and 12 gallon. The only 5 gallon that I saw was a hex. http://www.marineland.com/products/cons ... ystems.asp Anyways, this retro...

    My 2.5g Pico

zoos are definetly my favorite. Mikes pico, the tank of the summer, is an example of how zoos can make a tank jump out. Look forward to seeing the progress.

    Some sort of tube...

what happened is the tube grew and then attached to another rock. So both ends were attached to to different rocks. Just now i rearranged the entire tank so i had to remove the tube. It was like a silk cocoon. I left it in there, though i didnt see anything in it. Im going to keep an eye on...

Just thought that I would share...

Edgray, I love going to tongs in fountain valley...not too far for you. They have THE best selection of frags, about a 55 gallon tank with tons of frags from $5 to $20. They get new frags every friday, and ive never lost anything from them. Take the 405 south to magnolia and tongs is at the...

    moonlights

I would rethink that idea. From what I have heard, they have not as of yet got the right wavelength of light for a reef tank out of those LED's. I would check out this post, this topic was previously covered there. ----> http://www.nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1849

Lowered the price...55 gal setup for sale...

I've convinced my friend to lower the price on this setup to $400. That is much less than he paid for everything. He MAY consider parting it out, but he has to get rid of the tank/stand/canopy.

    Stupid Reef Pet Tricks...

Yeh...they are impressive. I find that as soon as I add a flake to the tank for my colwn that they are the first to pop up out of nowhere. Once in a while it is fun to bury a flake or other small piece of food just below the surface of the sand and watch them dogpile each other.
