    Reefman's 20L...

I cut the grooves in them to help with the high flow that they will be required to handle...I also plan on using a coarse plastic screen to help prevent my fishes from having a day at Wild Rivers!! I wont know exactly how they work till i set up the pump and get it running. I am not expecting...

    store bought water

If the water is filtered using reverse osmosis, it should be fine. Note that if machines like the ones in front of grocery stores and water stores are not properly maintained, the water may still have phosphates and other stuff in it that arent good for your tank. Your best bet is RO/DI...

    Prep questions for a 10g with a 10g sump.

Here is a great link for overflows... http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.p ... opic=69372 ...you'll want the stockman standpipe if the hole is in the bottom. If you drilled the back, then an external druso will work for you. A durso standpipe is a great overflow, but requires an overflow box.

    Another Clean-up Crew Question

    Reefman's 20L...

overflows Here are my overflows that I constructed today. I was able to figure out a way to use 2" ABS elbows and attach them to 1" PVC. This will allow me more linear surface for overflow than the 1" PVC elbow...plus they are black so they dont stand out as much...

    Another Clean-up Crew Question

I would personally go with a handfull of blue legs rather than the scarlets...i tend to have agression problems with the scarlets and have read some unfavorable info on them in reputable reef books. Just IMO, Jesse

question about a candy cane frag

These guys prefer medium current...so you may want to put him in a location where he gets a good amount of indirect current. Does he look inflated and tissue-y, or deflated and hard? Jesse

    new nano setup lighting help

Nope...that lighting is nothing on top of a 20" deep tank. IMO, a 20" tank is grounds for metal halide. PC lighting, especially only ~43 watts just cannot penetrate that much water. And seems how the tank is only 15"wide, you cant really fit a power compact fixture that has any punch either...

    Reefman's 20L...

We'll see....those yashas are pricey. I think I may just have a couple exotic clowns and a six line or something like that. maybe a small citron clown goby. We'll see....I have to finish the tank still!!! Jesse
