Hey, sorry to change the subject somewhat but are these guys good eaters in captivity? some other posts say they keep dying. And what about keeping them in groups, do you guys think getting a pair would be okay? (assuming they arent a true 'mated' pair)

Thanks Sugar Mag I got him already, fed one head some shrimp but another rejected it. Seems really common here but i've never heard of it before. Comes in every week; about 6-8 pieces; most very large.

Hi sorry but is that a blue tang in there?! If it is, i bet it'll get whitespot within 2 weeks. They just dont do well in confined spaces.

Hi, Although the sight of a small 1.5" blue tang in a nano is an impressive sight, in such cramped quarters, they just seem to be very prone to whitespot. This, apart from having to keep upgrading in the future make both species an unwise decision in a nano. Just my 2c worth.
