Fish ExpressWay.. ( FEW),, Check this out ....... expressway

Hi people was looking at this yesterday and i just realised something: if the tanks are at eye level, and the corridors are up on the ceiling, it cant possibly be true. Remember in school when they said that liquids would always be at the same level in a container? If the highway was...

Hi, I've seen them host everything: elegance corals (they're still hardy in this part of the world), any euphyllia, sacrophytons, xenias, GSP, shrooms, zoos, night time bubble, a sea apple; really everything. Even non living things like peoples magnets and pumps. If i were you i'd try a...

    Blue Coral Banded Shrimp?

Hi Thanks incysor, will take into account your advice on the CBS. I used to have one in a 10gallon; he was okay with everyone, sat dead centre in the tank; his antennae flailing about. Just wondering, do blue coral banded shrimp grow smaller than the regular ones? On live aquaria, they say...

Thats odd iceburg, i've got an aquaclear 200 on my 2.5 with n worries. Flow is adjusted to highest level possible most of the time. Unless, by "AquaClear 20" you meant AC200; in which case it's really embarassing for me ;p

    Help, Trachyphyllia ate brittle star!

Hi, thanks for the reply The other brittle star in similar shape to the first is doing great, slowly regenerating arms. The LFS gave them to me as an experiment to try. The trachy ate it and spat the remainder out (just a pale brown shell like exoskeleton.

    Help, Trachyphyllia ate brittle star!

Hi guys, I left this morning for uni with both my black half-brittle stars (LFS guy gave them to me to see if they'll regenerate) rolling around on the sand. I had study group tonight so i only got back almost 9. To my disgust, my green Trachy has some black mush in it's mouth and it's...

    Hydroid Help

I think it's cos my tanks are covered in pods. After all, hydras arent photosynthetic; and besides they're now in a darker area hidden by the LR (thats where i cant get at them).

    Transporting Shrimp Long Distance

Hi guys, I just wanted to know whether anyone thinks i can transport some shrimp; in a 1.5l coke bottle, for an 8-10hour journey? Of course, i will get oxygen from the LFS etc. I kinda thought that if they can send stuff from indo-pac to the states (at least 14hrs) then i've got a chance...

    Yellow Cucumber

Hi there, Just some input on keeping yellow cukes alive longterm. The LFS lady kept hers alive for ages, they even spawn regularly in the tank but very few babies survived to 1.5cm size. How does she do it? She just feeds; and feeds; and feeds. She feeds something called JBL Korall Fluid...

    # of crabs/snails

I got a baby abalone from my LR. They really eat ALL the cyano and brown algae they can get their radulas on. I highly recommend them to anyone. I would pay $5-8 for one of them on my next tank. And as for your complaint that $6 crabs are rip-offs, scarlets cost $12-18 each here in Canberra...
