    Friday Pics.

I've been to City Pets and Global, but not Planet Fish. Any good?? Where does it rank among the others around town? I'd really like to pick a couple of those guys, if you see them around in the future could you let me know?? Thanks.

    Friday Pics.

Incysor: If you dont mind me asking, what store did you pick the Sunburst Anthias' up at?? I really like the look of them, I'd like to add a pair to my 90 gallon when its all set up.

    tank cover question

Glass would be good. I've got a glass cover on my 30 gallon, and the light gets down there just fine. A glass cover would be much better than plastic, if you were thinking of adding a plastic one over glass.

    Lee's counter current skimmer?

Does this particular one just stick to the back of your tank?? I've only had Hang on back skimmers, I might have to try this one.

    Bio-Spira

Can I add this before LR?? Never used it in my smaller tanks, and now I'm setting up a 90 gallon. Just added water yesterday, so it's just the water and CaribSea Aragonite at this point. Should I wait to add the Bio-Spira until I put LR in, or will it be okay with no LR??

Storing mixed saltwater and keeping it fresh

I was wondering what everybody uses to keep there mixed water fresh in between water changes?? I usually just mix all my water right before I do the change, but now that I have two tanks, and am looking to start a third, this is becoming a sort of a pain in the ass. Can anybody give me some...

    Little white bugs

Hey guys, I was looking at my tank today, and i noticed a good number of near microscopic white bug looking things sort of hopping around on the glass, and on the surface of the water. I was gonna take a pics, but it would be impossible to see the things, they are that small. I've searched...

Sorry, didn't realize where i posted that. Clicked on your name and meant to PM you, don't know what happened. madeINcanada's name is Jeremy, and i told him about this site and reefcanopy, that's where he ordered his 28w's from. Him bringing up his lights reminded me that i needed to thank...

    new 5.5

djconn: I ordered the lights off reefcanopy.com, i also ordered a base and canopy from them, but it's gonna be like 3 weeks before it gets here. It's just the one 28w right now, i was gonna go with the 70 but it was like $155 instead of the $75 i paid for the 28's.

    Fish for a 2.5?

Thought i'd throw in my two sense regarding the clown goby. I've had in one in my 20 gallon for about a month now, and although your tank is considerably smaller than mine, i still think a clown would be your best bet. Mine rarely moves more than a few inches from a rock with some yellow polyps...

    Fish for a 2.5?

mihkaail, If you don't mind me adding a fish to your list, i'd go with a Red Striped Goby. They're a pretty rare find in the aquarium industry, and i don't think I've seen anyone with one on this site, so your tank would definitley be different. Don't know if your LFS has them in stock, I know...

Reasonable amount of fish for a 24 gallon JBL Nanocube

A nice small goby you could think about is the Yellow Clown, i just added one to my 30 gallon a couple days ago, and he's really got an active personality and he's only about half an inch long.

    Yellow Clown Goby

I read the previous posts on this fish, but all of them seem to be from a couple months ago, and was wondering if anyone has recently kept a Yellow Clown Goby...... I got him for $9, and was wondering who has one in their tanks. I've already noticed he's a lookout....he likes to perch in the...

    Opinions Needed on Fish Recommendations...

Astrea snails do a fairly decent job keeping the sand bed mixed up. they spend a lot of the time half buried, and feeding on detritus in the bed. Nassarius snails also do a pretty good job, they're smaller but move a little faster and are more active........ for the fish, either a goby or a...
