I add H2O about 3 times a week I usually add H2O with some sodium every 2 weeks. Nothing else!

Definately a waterbased stain! Even with oil based, you should not have any problems of it leaking into your tank if you put a good clear sealant over it.

I have a 3/4 watt blue LED as my moon light. It is very nice. It gives a nice shimmering effect in the tank. I think it will look real nice once I add my live rock and some corals one day.
