Being a learner myself I can't comment to deeply. But, when I set my tank up recently I added livestock to it on a 10 daily basis one thing at a time, this gives the tank time to adjust to the new biol oad.. IMHO that is.

Hi.. I put a power head in my 12g nano to give it some movement. Anyone any idea's as to why it would blow out small bubbles every couple of minutes? It is about 3 inches under water so it can't be sucking air from the surface. I'm stumped as to why it would do it..

How often does the filter which is in the pump chamber need cleaning? And is the best way to clean it by rinsing it in the old water during a water change?

I have an Orca 12g nano tank that comes with a skimmer in the second chamber. When I turn it on it sends millions of tiny bubbles into the main tank! Any advice how to overcome this?

What about eating sponges or mushrooms? Cuss these little bleeders are all over my new piece of mushroom coral that has some sponges on the rock as well.
I'm sorry I don't know? They have little white rings on the end of their legs, The one that does the most damage has one huge claw and one small one. Guess what? he's going to a friend....LOL

I plan just to have damsels in the 12g nano. How many would be safe along with the hermits I have (two) and the shrimps (two) snails (3-4) and live coral I plan to add over the next few months.

Marine lab test kit you add three reagents, wait 15 mins and check against a colour chart. It is the same colour as 0-1? The crabs have orange tips to their legs, and look like bumble bees in a shell!!
