Well, as I was staring at my tank (everyone does that right?) I saw my new (1 week old) cleaner shrimp shed his skin. Very cool! The question is, do I need to remove his old skin or will scavengers eat that?

Well, I use autofocus so that probably helps clarity, but for everything else I use manual shutter speed, aperture and white balance to give me a "proper" exposure. Of course, I could give you my settings, but things like lighting, distance from target will all affect how useable they would be...

Hi all, I'm trying to normalize the temperature fluctuations of this cube. Yesterday it bumped up to 83 degrees. I'm trying to keep it around 77-81, but this is rather erratic. Anyone have any ideas to keep this thing cooler? I've looked at chillers, but don't really want to go down that road...

lol. Skull mountain, I guess I've watched Pooh one too many times with the kids. I wanted lots of caverns and hidey-holes for the fishies to play/hide in. Someday I'll have fish to evaluate the design. I was thinking of adding a bit more, but I'm still on the fence.
