    White Worms

Hello all, I noticed today that I have some, what appear to be, white worm-like organisms in my tank. Does anyone know what these are? I have seen my copepods from time to time and these are definitely not the same. These are almost translucent. They're curled up and move almost like snails...

    Algae Problems and Identification

So I've been fighting algae for a while now and I thought I'd finally ask for help. First, I need to figure out what I'm dealing with and then I'd like some suggestions. There should be 5 pictures of the various types..the vinelike one concerns me the most as it is taking over one of my frags...

    Brown Fuzzy Algae?

Hi guys, lately some shortfuzzy/hairy (not not long and hairy green stuff) has been popping up on my rocks. Is there anything I can do to control this?

Any want to sell frags in and around Irvine, California

Wow. Tongs rocks. I picked up some very nice, very cheap frags. They have two large tanks full of small, medium, large and XL frags. I will post pics soon, but I definitely recommend them for people around here. Thanks reefman, you're my hero.

Any want to sell frags in and around Irvine, California

I've checked out most of the LFS around here, except Tongs which I'll try tomorrow, but they didn't have the best looking frags..the frags I got from reefman put them to shame..

    Tank Mates - Fighting

What are your recommendations for a fish similar (in personality and style) to the six-line that would fit in the 24 gallon?

    Tank Mates - Fighting

Well, that sucks. I read that a 24 gallon was okay for the six-line. I really like him over the clown, but I imagine that will limit other tank mates..he (the six-line) eats and forages and seems to not be stressed by the size...ahh..decisions, decisions..thanks guys.

    Tank Mates - Fighting

Okay. Problems here. My six-line has recently become very territorial with my smaller clown. He has caused the clown to unhost the powerhead (in my estimation) and the clown is resigned to a small corner. I just watch my six-line charge and poke the clown in the side. They're both in my 24g...

    Algae?

It seems that when I bought my star polyps over a month ago it has some sort of grassy algae or plant along for the ride. Well, it seems to be spreading and my star polyps don't seem to like it one bit. It doesn't seem to be good or of benefit, but I don't really know. What is this and what...

    White Powder

I'll try to get a good picture, but he eats just fine. In fact he ate out of my hand last night. Maybe I'm being paranoid? He's not lethargic or anything, but he seems to have unhosted the powerhead. He swims on the other side of the tank..

    White Powder

I'm not sure if it's me or not, but my clown fish seems to have a very faint white powder on his eye and part of his body. He's acting fairly normal (swimming near the glass, eating, etc), but just wanted to check to see what it might be. I added a six-line on Sunday, but my levels haven't risen...

    New Six Line

Thanks for the warning..I'll definately have to make some adjustments. I feed my clown very tiny amount in the morning and at night (no really it is a tiny amount) I think I'll do an every other day with Jack (the six-line). Thanks again..

    New Six Line

Yeah, they're great, but they're messy and they eat a lot. I think I need to beef up my cleaning crew to handle the extra waste/food.

    New Six Line

It's the one on brookhurst. Its in the same lot as the MacDonalds. The six-line I bought had been in there for a couple weeks. I didn't see any others in there.

    New Six Line

I got him for 16.99 at reefman's favorite LFS (Pacific Reef) ;-)

    New Six Line

I just got him today and wow is he cool! He zips around through the rocks (eats my copepods) and looks cool. He didn't really even hide when I first put him in his new home. Here's a pretty crappy picture..
