I finally entered. Waited til the last minute like usual...<grin>

I've had 2 fire shrimp. They were in the same tank, and both were very skittish and shy. They mainly came out at night. Does anyone else's come out often. I'm not sure I'm gonna spend $25 on another one if it's just gonna hide in the rockwork all the time. B

I think that blue line is a trick of the light when they took the pic. The one's I've seen in the stores were all clear glass. But sometimes when you get the right angle on the end of a pane of glass it appears darker. Definitely get a pic of it if you can. B

They're no different from any other PC bulb. If you're keeping things that are low light, you'll probably be fine for a full year. If you are trying to keep things that have higher light needs, then you'll still need to change them out every 6-7 months. B

If I remember correctly www.garf.org used to have some fairly good frag info. I wouldn't reccomend buying anything from them, their rep isn't very good on this front. I tried to find the actual page that had the fragging info, but it seems their site is down right now. B

Nope, no brains. I don't have enough light on that tank. I've got the two fish, a large pink tube anemone, and a few mushrooms. There's a HOB filter, and skimmer on the back of the tank, and 2 NO lights on it. I'll probably upgrade the lights by using one of the 65W PC fixtures I just pulled...
