I think you can remove this one through add/remove programs in your control panel. B

Gold striped maroon clown in my 20 gal?

Actually maroons are known to be the most agressive of the clowns. Tomatoes are right up there as well. B

    Blastomussa...

Unless you know one color morph is significantly more rare, I'd say it's pretty much just personal preference as to which will look better in the tank. B

    18g Setup with many questions

It's probably a little on the low side. I'd Just try to keep most of your coral placed closer to the top of the tank than the bottom. If you decide to upgrade a bit later you can always rearrange. B

    18g Setup with many questions

Yeah, probably. Although Hexes tend to be deeper than a regular tank of the same volume. How deep is the tank? I've got 32w over my 6g, but it's only 10 inches deep. B

Babycakes' precious 10g Jebo and 7.5g shallow display

The pics you have in your nano-reef.com gallery don't allow direct linking. At least not normally. I'm not sure why one of them is loading, but the others aren't. However this is probably we're all seeing red x's. You'll have to host them someplace that allows it, put them with your other...

    tiny star fish

It'll be fine. It was likely a mini brittle star, (if the legs were long and skinny), or an asterina star, (if they were short and fat), both are harmless detritus/algae eaters. B

    Glowing Ball

That'd be cool since they're a more expensive coral. B

    jus a few questions

Basically it should be a lighter shade. Fastest are fine. I periodically take water samples with me to a LFS I trust and have them run tests as well. The reagents in the test kits can go bad over time so it's good to double check that your tests are accurate every once in awhile. B

    jus a few questions

I use fastest and salifert test kits. Salifert are generally considered the best. Although the new calcium tests read 50ppm too high, unless they've adressed the problem in the last 3-4 months. B

    My new firefish

They're gonna want meaty foods that are in the water column. Enriched brine, cyclopeeze, mysis, that kinda thing. I've got a pair of purple ones in my 75. They're really very cool. One of my favorite things is that they both 'go to bed' a few minutes before the lights go out each night...

    18g Setup with many questions

The main thing that determines what kind and how much light you need is the type of corals you want to keep. Different corals have differerent light needs, some require very little light, and some require a lot of light. Once you figure out what types of corals you like then you look at how...

    to much

If you just jumped into the new lights with no acclimation it's very possible you burned stuff. When I made the switch from 130w PC over my 75g to 440w VHO and 175w MH I cut my photoperiod from 10hrs down to 3 with just the VHOs. After a week I moved it up to 4hrs, then another week 5 hrs...

simple 20 gal plumbing plan, now pics worked :)

I think it's a very elegant design. I liked how tight your plumbing is to the top. I generally have a hard time getting the plumbing that precise. I waste a lot of PVC and connections. B

simple 20 gal plumbing plan, now pics worked :)

This looks pretty cool. Do you just have holes drilled randomly on the bottom of the pvc on the 'tank' side of the overflow? I really like the idea. If I were going to do it I might try black or blue acrylic and create some baffles, but it's nice and simple this way. My boss has a very...

    sea urchin and star

I'd skip the urchin. I've got urchins in most of my tanks, most of them eat coraline, but they also end up spreading it around the tank because some of the small bits they miss get into the water colum, so in large tanks the coraline growth easily outpaces what they can eat. In a nano unless...
