Regular button polyps are normally a little larger.

Careful with the crushed coral, detrious can settle down in the crackes and crevises and can cause continuous nitrate problems.

You can also find the battery operating air pumps at Bait and tackle shops, cheaper too.

Those are pretty much the standard. When you get familiar with those, then there's Calcium & Alk as well.

Was the rock that you added last week cured? The silt will settle with time, I know that sounds lame, but it will. :mrgreen:

Looks like you have a positive ID. Don't be alarmed if you see any of them expelling little clouds of whitish fluid into the water column, that is just how they release eggs/sperm HTH :mrgreen:

Yep, credit cards are a cheap tool. Scraping it from the glass also helps to seed it around the tank. :D

The quarentine tank that I have up and running is just a basic 10g tank with a 40w 50/50 fixture on it along with a whisper filter for circulation. I keep this tank pretty bare on purpose with just sand. Should I put anything in it for the purpose that it is set up for, then theres room...
