Way to go on making him happy again. You can also check after lights out and see if the feeder tenticles are out, sometimes that can be an indication that he's actively trying to feed.

You'll feed the open brain and frogspawn the same as the sun coral. Let the food get within their reach and they'll do the rest. HTH :mrgreen:

Maubee, unless there is a scheduled chat, its kind of hit or miss as to whether someone will be in there throughout the day or night. There are a few of us that are making an effort to be in there on a regular basis, so hopefully there will be someone in there next time you come in.

I've had this laying around for awhile and can't use it with my current setup so I thought Id see if anyone can use it. It has a wooden block head (Im sure if can be removed) and a long cord. How about 10 plus shipping or will trade for a softy frag.

The suns are in one large piece, but in 3 groups. The middle is actually a very large clam (about the size of my fist) with the 2 smaller sections on either side. On the underside of one of the smaller sections I found this guy. At first I thought clam, but after watching the whole thing move...

To completely avoid the cycle, could you swap the new rock for some in your 100? The new rock shouldn't upset your 100g with it being such a small amount. After about a week or so I would think that you would be able to reswap with no ill effects. Just thinking outloud :eusthink BTW...

Right, which was why I got to looking into this. I am having a flow issue and thought that with the new maxijet 900s I could completely get it covered. I'll look into it more when the new pumps come in to see how they do by themselves. Thanks Skip
