using a shot glass for floating frag shrooms and other frags. keeps them out of the current and out of peskie hermits.

i put a shot glass in my tank for my loose shrooms. i just put a couple pieces of rubble in the bottom and then set the shroom in and let them do the rest. the shot glass keeps them from floating around. you can use any kind of container though. i have a bunch of shot glasses around and there...

master just let me know, this stuff grows like crazy. i have been selling it back to the LFS when i have no where to put it. on another note....just back from one of my LFS and they got there shipment in today and got some goodies....will post pics tomarrow.

your not missing anything.... i think master understood it wrong. inverts, all inverts are non photosynthetic. john meant that they might want to go with a invert only tank and not a photosynthetic coral tank. i think.....lol. but any who....best of luck to your freinds, and happy reefing

i agree with mike...the branch rock really sets it off. great looking set up. is that branch rock tonga, it look huge....if it is, ive never seen it that big. good luck and happy reefing

well i fraged it from the algae and placed it on a rock, here is a pic.....not that great cause this thing is the size of a rounded off pencil tip.

on my ten gallon when i first started i have a coralife 28w fixture that i got for like $40 bucks. it was good enough for my shrooms and zoa's. i also had a thick sand bed and a bunch of LR. i aalso had GSP in the too, placed toward the top. everything did great.
