i bought a pair of the coralife ones. expensive but they go up to my shoulders and they have elastic around the top to hold them in place. they worked great for my 75 and my tall 27.

any kind of paint will work.....i painted the back of my ten with a can of flat black spray paint. my FW tank i painted blue, i had the blue laying around. cant remember what kind it was though. i used a small foam roller, it worked great. nice clean even finish.

i have already cut down my photo period so it wont stress my corals out as much. well at least that is what i was thinking. i feal much better at it now that i hear that you do it too.

thats what happened with my spider plant, but it blocked to much.

i was happy when i found out my GBTA split, but the problem was it was to big already, and then it split double the trouble. to GBTA moving around my twenty. not to mention my tomato clown hosted both and wouldnt let my perc host the other half. so i got rid of them both and my clowns. maybe...

i usually pull out any that get bigger than 3 inches...IMO.

you could add a few more blue legs..... the only other thing is about the conchs, they really need a bigger sand bed to survive like in a larger tank. nano sand beds cant produce enough food for them. JMO and what ive heard

lol now you got me confused :roll: didnt really do alot of research on lighting, just went with the light that was recomended for what i wanted to keep. didnt ever try to understand the wattage thing. sorry couldnt be more help.

40watts...i think, im not an expert in this department. i am running 96w over my ten gallon. coralife makes the fixture im using, its a quad bulb. i dont think 40w would be enough for LPS. hopes this helps.
