    Pics of my 29g Biocube

I read this topic about 5 times now trying to logically find truth to the matter. I second Jesse and Erik's opinion. Again everyone has there opinion so I'm just going to express mine. I read in 2050 the world as a whole won't have any seafood (crabs, fish etc....) and florida will be...

    First Nano

dakkoon, I don't know for $150.... Buy a 5 gallon ($10 if even that) AGA and the two 13w PC would be pretty descent for lighting. Then you have $140 to spend on sand, rocks and corals. But then again do you have LFS that carry a variety of corals? Anyways, keep us posted on your plans...

    Nc 12 Dx Start date 17/ 08/06 - First SW :D

Reefermike, I'd scrap the algae off ASAP! I waited to long and it grew thicker, luckly I have a 66 gallon tank which is glass and used a metal razor (I know not to use a metal razor but the plastic razor wasn't sharp enough). Plus help with two yellow tangs which did a hell of a job eating...

    zoa problem

Erik, I was very intersted in this topic even though I never ran into the problem. I read everything on reefcentral that Jesse posted and was more educated about zoanthids. Everything that I read came to the conclusion of fraging the healthy polyps and disgarding the infected area...

Calcium, Strontium, Ph Buffer, Phytoplankton and Iodine

First Tony how big is your tank? Yeah, 83 degrees is pretty hot. Is that with the lights on after 5 hours and whats the temp during the day. Obviously all that wouldn't matter if you had a chiller, do you have one? There are so many factors with temp fluntuations, water pumps in the sump was...

Zoanthid frags look like they are dead

Is the current sufficient? I had frags with little current and I had that same problem. Hopefully you can blow off the white fungus and put it in an area with more current, and closer to the light. Sometimes frags are moody from mwhat I encounterd. Hope this may help.

I do have a sump with chaeto and other algaes, flow in the tank is over 1,000+ gph... What have I done wrong, or what can I do...
